These terms apply to everyone who uses Ice Cold Club — whether you're a first-time guest, a monthly member, a corporate client, or an Academy trainee. Please read them carefully. By booking a session or event with us, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Ice Cold Club ("we," "us," "our") provides guided cold plunge, breath work, and sound healing sessions, events, workshops, and certifications in Brooklyn, NY, and at client locations. These terms govern your use of our services and our website at icecold.club.

2. Booking + cancellation

  • Bookings: all sessions require an advance booking through our scheduling system. Drop-ins are not accepted.

  • Cancellation policy: cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance are fully refundable. Cancellations within 12 hours are charged in full. No-shows are charged in full.

  • Memberships: monthly unlimited memberships auto-renew each month. You can cancel at any time before the next billing date — your cancellation becomes effective once you return your key to us.

  • Workshops + certifications: specific terms may apply and will be disclosed at time of booking. Academy tuition is non-refundable once the first session begins.

  • Weather + closures: rooftop sessions are open-air and weather-dependent. In the event of severe weather, we'll reschedule or issue credits.

3. Health + safety disclaimer

Cold exposure and intensive breath work carry real risks. Extreme cold can cause heart arrhythmias, fainting, hyperventilation, or in rare cases more serious outcomes. You participate at your own risk.

You should not participate if you have:

  • Cardiovascular disease, heart conditions, or uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • A history of seizures or epilepsy

  • Raynaud's disease or severe cold sensitivity

  • Pregnancy, unless cleared by your physician

  • Open wounds, active infections, or recent surgery

  • Any condition that could be worsened by cold exposure or breath-hold practices

Always consult your doctor before beginning a cold exposure or intensive breath work practice. You're responsible for disclosing any health conditions that could affect your safety.

4. Liability waiver

By booking a session or event, you acknowledge that:

  • Cold plunge and breath work practices carry inherent risks

  • You're participating voluntarily

  • You've disclosed any relevant health conditions

  • You release Ice Cold Club, its instructors, contractors, and partners from liability for any injury, illness, or property damage arising from your participation — except to the extent caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct

Every participant signs a liability waiver before each session. The waiver is in addition to these terms.

5. Code of conduct

We're committed to creating a safe, inclusive environment for everyone. By participating, you agree to:

  • Treat instructors, staff, and other participants with respect

  • Follow instructor guidance during sessions

  • Disclose health concerns that could affect your safety

  • Refrain from photography or recording without explicit permission from others in the space

  • Not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or drugs

We reserve the right to refuse service or ask participants to leave for any behavior that compromises safety or community wellbeing.

6. Private events + corporate bookings

Private events, brand activations, corporate off-sites, and custom experiences are governed by a separate event agreement and require a deposit at time of booking. The agreement may include additional deposit, cancellation, and liability terms beyond what's listed here.

7. Academy + certifications

Certification programs have additional terms covering tuition, attendance, ethics, and use of the Ice Cold Club name. Trainees receive those terms upon enrollment.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including written copy, photography, video, logos, class methodologies, and training materials — is owned by Ice Cold Club or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Use of the website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest content without permission

  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

  • Interfere with other users' experience of the site

10. Third-party services

Our booking system (Acuity Scheduling), website host (Squarespace), payment processors, and other third-party tools have their own terms and privacy policies. Your use of those services is governed by their terms in addition to ours.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law + dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of our services will be resolved in the courts of Kings County, New York.
