Our commitment
Ice Cold Club is committed to making our website and services accessible to everyone — regardless of ability, device, or assistive technology. We believe cold plunge, breath work, and nervous system care should be available to every body that wants to experience it.
Website accessibility
We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. That means designing for:
Screen reader compatibility
Keyboard-only navigation
Sufficient color contrast
Descriptive alt text on images
Clear, readable typography
Responsive design across devices
If you encounter a barrier while using our site — something that's hard to read, navigate, or interact with — we want to know. Please email contact@icecold.club with the page URL and a short description of the issue, and we'll work to address it.
In-person accessibility
Our rooftop locations have specific physical considerations:
Williamsburg Rooftop (275 South 5th Street, Floor 5) — accessible via elevator. Our cold plunge tubs do not currently have step stools or railings — you'll need to be able to step over the edge of the tub to enter. If this is a concern, please reach out in advance and we'll work with you on setup.
Gowanus Rooftop (240 3rd Ave) — accessible via elevator. Same tub considerations apply — no step stool or railing at this time.
Private events — we can adapt our setup for accessible entry, transfer aids, and adjacent rest space. Tell us what you need in your event inquiry and we'll plan accordingly.
If you have specific accessibility needs we haven't addressed here, please reach out before booking. We'd rather have a conversation and get it right than make assumptions.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility isn't a one-time checklist — it's an ongoing commitment. We review our site and experiences periodically, and we adjust as we learn from feedback and as standards evolve.
